Arrived HCMC!

After a short flight from Hong Kong, we arrived at HCMC around 10:30am. Loan met us at the airport. We got settled into our hotel, unpacked, and had a tasty lunch by the pool.

Here's me eating one of my favourite foods - pho!


Tomorrow we head to the orphanage to meet Maya! We will leave around 8 am and arrive at Vung Tau 3 around 10:30am. The adoption ceremony will be tomorrow afternoon. It will be a very exciting and busy day!

    Hi Carol...you look relaxed and ready to meet your daughter. I can't believe you are there and by the time you get back to read this you will have Maya in your arms.
    Also, Catherine has not added a blog entry for over a week now and we are hoping all is OK with her. I hope you meet up and can report back.

    Carol, so excited for your family. I can't wait to see how much Maya has changed since I first saw her in the orphanage way back on June 7th, 2009. Drink in every moment. Good times are ahead!
