Crib Crisis

Apparently we have misplaced some of the hardward to Aidan's (expensive) old crib. We are going to see if the manufacturer can send us some new hardward. I'm not too optimistic as the crib is 7 years old. Hopefully we can get some of the parts that we need from the hardward store. Someone here is in the doghouse.

  1. I heard yesterday of an Ottawa family getting travel approval after waiting 6-7 months...so go find that hardware!

  3. There is a family from Ottawa who are adopting from Vung Tau that are leaving this week so yes, get that crib up and ready :) (they waited just over 4 months).

  4. Is this the family that left this past Thursday? If so, they are adopting from Vung Tau 1, which is apparently much faster. Hopefully we will hear something this week.

  5. No, they're leaving this Tuesday. I can't remember which Vung Tau...it could be 1. Their little guy is 10 months old. I know one of the Vung Tau's is older children. I hope you hear soon and I certainly feel your pain! We've had our referral since the end of July. The waits are excruciatingly long these days.
