Did you catch the documentary, Somewhere Between, on TVO tonight? It's about teenage Chinese adoptees living in America and coming to terms with their identity. Very moving. Mike bawled and he never cries. Check out the trailer here. It plays again at midnight tonight.
Hi Carol, I found the documentary hard to watch at times and heartwrenching...continue to have lots of questions that weren't answered in the film...want to see these girls again in 10 years....also felt or wished I was with other adoptive parents watching so we could discuss afterwards...maybe at some time in the future that can be arranged!...
It seemed that several of the girls were living in communities without a lot of Asians. I'm wondering if this fueled their desire to seek out their birth parents.
