More Sandbank Memories

The day after the reunion, we returned to enjoy Sandbanks some more. I just love the beach there - it's almost as good as going to Florida!

Thousand Island Cruise

Before we arrived in Pictin, we took the Thousand Island Cruise along the St. Lawrence River from Gananoque.  It was not as spectacular as the 30,000 Island cruise we took a few years ago in Georgian Bay, but the kids enjoyed themselves nevertheless.  The highlight was the Boldt Castle on an island in the middle of the river, built by the proprietor of the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City.

This and every Mother's Day I count my blessings for my wonderful children and that my own mother is still with us.
