Halloween

This year Maya went as Wonderwoman (in age appropriate costume :)). She invited a friend from school. They got an incredible amount of candy in only 1 hour.  Aidan decided at the last minute he was going to go out with his neighbourhood friends.  I was not too happy that a 6 ft tall kid in Grade 10 without a proper costume was going out.  Oh well. He had a fun time.

Gros Morne

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in beautiful Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland.  We flew direct to Deer Lake and rented a lovely chalet in Rocky Harbour.  It was a quiet time of year.  Some of the attractions were unexpectedly closed but we got a lot of nice hikes in and did some fishing. The scenery was beautiful and the air was incredibly fresh.  Aidan had sprained his knee a few weeks prior but was luckily well enough to hike.   Here are some snaps for the holiday...
