Aidan broke his arm a few weeks ago; so we cancelled our trip to Iceland. Vacationing at the cottage instead.

Traditional Vietnamese Concert in Mississauga

We attended a local recital put on by the Vietnamese Community Centre of Mississauga. We listened to the "moon flute" (banjo type instrument), zither, and monochord. The last instrument has only one string, and various notes are generated by picking the string while changing its tension. The community centre provides lessons for traditional Vietnamese instruments.
