Life is Better by the Bay

Our home computer was broken most of the summer.  We recently got a new one; so I can finally post a few photos from the summer.  Although the summer was cooler and rainier than normal, the weekends were pretty nice.  This allowed us to get quite a bit of use out of the new cottage.  We were there most weekends and had a number of visitors, including Mike's parents, my sister, our neighbours, and one of my friends and her daughter. We also did a few  trips - one to Tobermory and Flower Pot Island and one to a treehouse (where we spent the night).  The following are a few photos that show life really is better by the bay......

A Busy Spring

It's almost summer and I haven't posted all spring!

As usual this Spring was quite busy... we celebrated Easter with a neighbourhood easter egg hunt and a visit from my sister. Aidan started baseball and has been busy with games and practices. This is his first year in the league and he is loving it!  We are also gearing up for Aidan's grade 2 piano exam. He just finished his recital last week along with all of his school exams.

We've been most busy getting the cottage that we just bought ready for some summer fun... cleaning, and buying a few new things...

Maya Turns 5!

Maya turned 5 this week! She really wanted her birthday party at BounceNPlay again.This year she wanted a "Frozen"  theme.  She noticed that her ice cream cake was frozen and had the Frozen characters on it!  Here are a few shots from her party....
