A Visit From My Other Sister

My dear friend Julia and her husband Gulzar came to visit us this past Easter.  I met Julia when I lived in Houston and we worked at the same consulting firm.  Her last name is the same as mine and everyone used to think we were sisters.  We became very good friends and I now think of her as a sister. 

 

We went to visit Niagara Falls.  I had never been there at this time of year.  We got some great views of the American and Horseshoe Falls from the Skylon Tower.  The ice on the falls and the rocks was very beautiful.

The Big 1-0

Aidan turned the big 1-0 recently.   It's hard to believe he is ten already.  He's growing like a weed and already likes to listen to pop music loudly.  We had a family dinner for him on his birthday where he opened his gifts.  Then just today he had a very big laser tag birthday party with his friends from school and the neighbourhood.  Here are a few snaps from his birthday celebrations
